A hand drawn, 5 year labor of love from writer, director and animator SCOTT STORM, 'The Apple Tree' has screened at festivals on 3 continents - including Dances With Films, Manhattan Film Festival, HollyShorts International Film Festival, Seattle Shorts Film Festival, and Phoenix Film Festival in the States, Dingle International Film Festival in Ireland, and Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival in Japan.

 

The film has won numerous awards, including 'Best Animation', 'Best Animated Film' (Gold Medal), 'Best Sound' (Gold Medal), 'Best Original Score' (Silver Medal), and 'Best Cartoon'.

JOE KRAEMER - Composer
Joe Kraemer first met Scott Storm at the age of 11. Thirty years and countless films later, they continue to work together. Other notable films Joe has scored include: 'Jack Reacher', 'The Way of the Gun', and 'Mission Impossible 5'.
DAVID DELIZZA - Sound Designer
David began playing music at age 8 but over time, he realized that sometimes he liked making noise more than music, leading him to a career in cinematic sound and foley. He currently works as a production sound mixer.

When Scott was struggled with character design for Sabine, he glanced at an album of his wife Maria as a young girl; problem solved. Maria is also the incredible mother of their amazing sons, Antonio and Charlie.
